Nathan
Nathan is the Lead Veterinary Nurse and founder of PriVET, with over a decade of hands-on experience across general practice, emergency, and critical care settings. He began his career with a foundation in zoology and exotic animal husbandry at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. From there, his career evolved into shelter medicine, small animal practice, specialty nursing, and multi-site hospital management.
Nathan is known for his calm presence in high-pressure situations and his commitment to delivering gold-standard care with empathy and integrity. He founded PriVET is to bring high-quality veterinary care into the home, where pets feel safest—and where meaningful, low-stress care can truly thrive.
As Lead Veterinary Nurse, Nathan not only provides expert hands-on care but also mentors his team, fostering a culture of empathy, continual learning, and excellence. He believes that great veterinary care happens when skilled professionals work closely with informed, engaged pet owners.
When he’s not working, Nathan loves spending time with his partner and three children — whether camping, kayaking, or exploring zoos and theme parks.
Kimberly
Kimberly is a highly skilled Veterinary Nurse with specialized experience in emergency medicine and surgical recovery. A graduate of St. Petersburg College’s Veterinary Technician Program, she has spent most of her career working overnight in ER and surgical settings, where calm under pressure and clinical precision are essential.
She is Fear Free Certified and Recover Initiative Certified in both Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS & ALS), reflecting her commitment to low-stress, high-quality care—even in the most critical situations. Kimberly is especially adept at patient triage, post-op monitoring, and helping anxious pets feel secure and comforted throughout their treatment.
Outside of work, Kimberly is a proud mother who brings the same compassion and steadiness to her family life as she does to her patients. Clients value her gentle demeanor, clinical skill, and unwavering focus on doing what’s best for every animal she cares for.

Abigale
Abigale is a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse with over five years of hands-on experience in both general practice and specialized care. Currently serving as a rehab technician at Southeast Veterinary Neurology, she assists in physical therapy for neurologic patients, performing hydrotherapy, laser therapy, e-stim, TENS, and more. Her background also includes years of experience at a busy general practice, where she worked with everything from cats and dogs to exotics and farm animals.
Abigale is Fear Free Certified, Cat Friendly Certified, and Recovery initiative Certified in BLS & ALS, reflecting her commitment to low-stress, high-quality care. Whether she's assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthesia, or providing overnight nursing care, she brings calm confidence and genuine compassion to every patient interaction.
Known for her patience and reliability, Abigale is currently pursuing her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology through Penn Foster College. She continues to grow her skills with a focus on rehabilitation and specialty care—always putting the comfort and well-being of pets first.
